MasteryPath: Skill & Focus ("we", "us", or "our") operates the MasteryPath mobile application (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
1. Mandatory Internet Connection
MasteryPath is an Online-Only application. An active internet connection is strictly required to access and use the app’s core features, including skill tracking, Pomodoro timer functions, and achievement systems. This connection is used for secure ads delivery, consent management, and verifying app stability.
2. Information Collection and Use
We follow an Offline-First approach for data persistence, meaning your primary activity data is stored on your device.

App Data: Skill names, study goals, notes, and milestones are stored in a secure local database on your device hardware.

No Server Storage: We do not upload or store your personal study progress on our private servers.

Device Identifiers: We may use device identifiers to personalize advertisements and analyze app performance for maintenance purposes.
3. Permissions
To provide its functionality, the app requires:

INTERNET: Required for the app to function, verify habit consistency, and load advertisements.

ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used to check connectivity status before attempting to load features.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We use trusted third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

Google Play Services: Used for app stability and core Android system features.
•
AdMob (Google): We display advertisements (Banner and Rewarded Ads) to keep the service free. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized ads.
5. Advertising and Consent (GDPR/CCPA)
We comply with global privacy regulations (like GDPR) using Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Users in regulated regions can manage or revoke their advertisement consent choices at any time through the app's Settings menu.

Automatic Deletion: All study progress and skill data are removed automatically from your device hardware if you uninstall the MasteryPath application.

Manual Cleanup: You can manually delete all local data by "Clearing Storage" in your Android device settings.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If we discover a child under 13 has provided us with data, we delete it immediately from our local processing systems.
